RETROSPECTIVE EXHIBITION

Now showing at the Ballarat Fine Art Gallery, 40 Lydiard Street North, Ballart, Victoria. Open until 26th January 2010.

SOLO EXHIBITION
Peter held a successful solo exhibition in August 2007, at Axia Modern Art Gallery, 1010 High St. Armadale. Sydney Myer opened the exhibition, which included 31 sculptures – some works which had been in the Hakone exhibition in Japan, and new sculptures from the ‘Whalesong’ series.


LORNE EXHIBITION
26/10/10 – 11/11/07: Peter exhibited 4 large sculptures in the Inaugural Annual Lorne Sculpture Exhibition…the littoral edge.


PRIZE
Peter was awarded the ‘Environmental Award’ at the 2007 Lorne Sculpture Exhibition

ORCHARD EARTH TOTEM

February 2007 - Commissioned by the Manningham City Council for the Sovereign Point Apartments, Doncaster.

SOLO EXHIBITION JAPAN 2006
Nov 3-Dec 3: Hakone Open-Air Museum, Hakone Japan.This was the first solo sculpture exhibition by an Australian at this world-renowned Museum. It has one of the most comprehensive collections of modern sculpture in the world, including works by Rodin, Henry Moore, Picasso, Giacometti, Miro, Noguchi, Brancusi. The Museum has over 2 million visitors each year.

Peter’s exhibition, ‘Sacred Land’ was opened by the Australian Ambassador to Japan, Mr. Murray McLean OAM. 47 of Peter’s sculptures and paintings were exhibited.

OAM
Peter was awarded an Order of Australia Medal - for services to the Arts as a sculptor and educator - on Australia Day 2006. Peter is very pleased and honoured to receive the award.
